From 15.7 to 17.7 in the eco village of Azarea, city of Troyan held a camp – seminar on Advanced Taekwon-do. The event was organized by the instructor of Euroatlas club Tommy Gizdov. Leading the technical and theoretical part of the event was the President of Advanced Taekwondo-do Europe ATEU Master B. Atanasov. The seminar was attended by members of the club and guests.
Questions of martial arts history, theory and philosophy were discussed. The differences between combat sports and martial arts were explained, as well as the reasons why Taekwon-do is not a religion.
The participants in the seminar held training sessions on foot techniques and tul, where the details of precise implementation and the necessary exercises for preliminary preparation were explained. Real complexes of alternative exercises to improve flexibility were shown.
A retrospective of the changes in the implementation of the basic techniques has been made over the years. The main elements of the “wave” were demonstrated in normal implementation and explained the difference from the “old” version of the Encyclopedia. Practically showed the correct pace of execution of the tuls.
In addition, a training session was held with a complex of exercises for working with a rope.
Outside martial arts, a demonstration was held on a garden barbecue. The tasters praised Master Tommy – great barbecue, hey, we licked our fingers!
With this event, Euroatlas and ATEU celebrated the successful completion of the school year.
The start of the new school year is scheduled for September 2022.
