The mission of Advanced Taekwon-Do Europe ATEU (ATKD.EU), updated to 2024, is “Innovative development of Korean martial arts, focused on Taekwon-do”. The main goals of the organization are:
- To offer organizational support, know-how and highly qualified training of martial arts instructors under attractive and mutually beneficial conditions for joint activity.
- To generate and introduce innovations consistent with the principles of martial arts.
- To develop martial arts without politicizing, mystifying or turning them into a sport.
- To certify technical degrees.
- To create a positive image of martial arts by providing up-to-date and reliable information about them.
In order to achieve its goals, ATEU maintains contacts with various international organizations and Grand Masters developing martial arts around the world. ATEU Мasters and instructors regularly participate in international events, maintaining a high level skills and up-to-date knowledge in martial arts.
